Freycinet Challenge

Freycinet Lodge hosts this popular endurance event, in the spring around October. The two-day event challenges competitors to cover several courses involving running, sea kayaking, road bike and mountain bike racing.
The spectacular National park and surrounding areas provide a unique backdrop for this high profile event. Competitors may enter as individuals or teams.

Three Peaks Race
Date: March 2011
Location: Freycinet National Park
Is an annual sailing and running endurance event where teams of sailors and runners sail from Launceston, Tasmania to Flinders Island, running up Mount Strezlecki, then on to the Freycinet Peninsula, running up Mount Freycinet, and then finishing in Hobart with a run up Mount Wellington.
