The Coles Bay Community would like to thank the team of 10 Conservation Volunteers Australia for their work here in October. Thanks to their efforts, many parts of our foreshore are weed-free.

Weeds removed include a succulent, sweet pittosporum, agapanthus, psoralia (purple butterfly bush) mirror bush and African Daisies.

All would have been garden escapees, so perhaps you could consider removing these plants from your garden.

The Glamorgan Spring Bay Council web site has information on all our local weeds and suggest native substitutes for many of these.
