The Wineglass Bay Cruise departs daily at 10am from our booking office situated on the jetty in Coles Bay, gateway to the Freycinet National Park, on Tasmania’s stunning east coast. Cruising the Freycinet Peninsula coast, you’ll experience stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and a rare, intimate perspective on one of Tasmania’s most extraordinary places.
Step aboard the new luxury Schouten Passage II, for an unforgettable four-hour cruise which takes you from the gentle shores of Coles Bay to one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, Wineglass Bay. Cruising the Freycinet Peninsula, you’ll experience stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and a rare, intimate perspective on one of Tasmania’s most extraordinary places. A shimmering crescent of white sand fringes a perfect turquoise sea at Wineglass Bay, beautiful and remote, this is a place that only a few will visit. At anchor in Wineglass Bay, you’ll have time to absorb the true peace of this beautiful place as you relax and enjoy a gourmet Tasmanian Ploughman’s lunch hand crafted by the Head Chef at the renowned Freycinet Lodge.
On your fully guided lunch cruise, your experienced skipper will share his vast local knowledge as you explore the Freycinet Peninsula’s stunning coastline in a way that few visitors can. Discover the natural and human history of this extraordinary place while our first mate, Ras the sea dog, keeps an eye out for dolphins. Cruise beneath the ruggedly beautiful pink granite cliffs that rise from the Tasman Sea, skirt forested capes and discover hidden, sea-swept bays. En-route, you’ll encounter some of the Peninsula’s remarkable wildlife including graceful white bellied sea eagles and prolific sea birds. Keep watch for pods of sleek dolphins, cavorting seals or the unforgettable sight of majestic whales on their yearly migration.
