Chef Stephen Kean brings over 30 years’ experience, including 15 years in France, creating seasonal dishes that highlight local produce, native herbs, and fresh seafood sourced through close ties with growers, farmers, and fishers. Elise curates thoughtful food-and-wine pairings from Spring Vale’s cellar to complement each plate. The setting draws guests into the rhythms of the vineyard, where cuisine, place, and wine come together. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am–4 pm, l’Apéro Bistro is a memorable stop on Tasmania’s Freycinet Coast wine trail.
